Rosie is a generally registered psychologist who is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and is currently completing the clinical registrar program to gain clinical endorsement.
Rosie has experience working with a diverse range of people from different backgrounds and across the lifespan. Rosie has experience providing psychological treatment and support individually and in groups, within both community and hospital settings.
Rosie works from a range of evidence-based therapies and interventions that are integrated and tailored to meet the individual needs of the client, including: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Schema Therapy, Mindfulness-based strategies, and she has been trained and supervised in delivering Dialectical Behaviour Therapy by Melissa Kent.
Rosie can provide treatment and support for a range of issues including: anxiety, depression and mood related difficulties, personality disorders, low self-esteem, adjustment/change concerns, stress management, and emotion regulation/anger management difficulties.
Rosie believes in empowering individuals to make positive and meaningful change in their lives and understands the importance of working collaboratively with her clients to achieve their goals.
Outside of work, Rosie enjoys spending time with her partner, family and friends; taking her puppy dog for walks and to the beach; and working on home improvement projects around her house.
