Our Services

Psychology is the study of the way people feel, think, act, and interact. Through a range of strategies and therapies, psychologists aim to reduce distress and enhance and promote emotional wellbeing. Psychologists are experts in human behaviour, and have studied the brain, memory, learning, and human development. Psychologists can assist people who are having difficulty controlling their emotions, thinking, and behaviour. This includes those with mental health problems such as anxiety and depression, serious and enduring mental illness, addictive behaviours, and childhood behaviour disorders.

Treatment for Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)

BPD is a common mental illness. People affected have difficulty managing their emotions and impulses, relating to people and maintaining a stable self-image. BPD can be highly distressing for the person affected, and often for their family and friends too. It can be confusing and easily misunderstood, but BPD is a very treatable condition. At The Glow Centre we offer a range of specific treatments that have demonstrated effectiveness in treating BPD.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

At The Glow Centre, we offer a range of DBT options, including individual DBT and skills training groups, and comprehensive DBT.  When someone is referred to us for DBT, we perform a thorough assessment and develop an individualised treatment plan in collaboration with our client, depending on the level of intensity that each requires.

Join our waitlist

Due to high demand for our services, our practice operates a waitlist system.  Please note that a waitlist submission does not guarantee an appointment.  This practice does not offer crisis care or accept urgent referrals.

Waitlist requests must be submitted by the prospective client (or parent/carer if under 16, however, name and date of birth must be that of the prospective client).

To assist our team to match you with a suitable clinician, please provide a reason for appointment:

You will be contacted by a member of our Client Relations Team when we are able to offer you an appointment.

Please note we do not offer crisis care, and do not have capacity to take on urgent referrals. If you require urgent care, please contact 000 or present to the Emergency Department of your local hospital, or contact your GP for other alternatives.
